Her head was throbbing.
Anastasia felt pain all over her body as if someone had run her over with a truck again and again and again. The amount of pain she was feeling in her bones and flesh couldn't compare with the ache she was felling on her neck. It was burning like someone has lit a fire on the base of her neck and then, repeatedly hit it with a rock and a stick to put off the fire.
She felt numb from the pain.
She tried opening her eyes but she groaned when she was blinded by the light of the room. She rubbed them with her right hand because, for some reason, it hurt to move the left one. Whining, she opened her eyes and took a look around to take in her surroundings.
