After the holidays Maya and William becomes more and more closer by each passing day and the employees are now becoming very observant but no one dares to say a word especially not to Williams Desmond, But everyone except for Mia, She's been ranting none stop to Maya about the sudden closeness between she and their boss at first Maya deny's it but eventually she gave in and told Mia that she as a crush on their boss, after her confession Maya is surprised by Mia's reaction she doesn't look surprised but the complete opposite she looks like someone who's been given the role to play cupid in Maya's life.

Maya no Matter what you must date Williams Desmond, if not you are going to be left devastated for the rest of your life. A friend of mine once said that if you are having an office crush and you do not actually date that person it's gonna sting more than a heartbreak, let me put it this way , You are going to " Die In Misery" Maya. Now do you see why you must date him?, Mia rants to Maya. Well it can not be that bad, Can It , it's just an office crush and I will get over it sooner or later I survived highschools shinanigance so I am fully capable of surviving forbidden office crush, Maya objects. Oh don't be silly Maya have you seen your face when he passes by or says your name, even my mother's mashed potatoes looks better, whenever you are with him you are like ice cream on a sunny day, that diva in you suddenly disappears and at times I can't tell if you are Maya or some lovesick puppy. Believe me when I say this, if you two don't end up together it's gonna leave a deep scar on you , Like it or not.

Am Doomed , Maya says as she put her head on her desk and sobs gently. Mia brushes her hair with her hand, It's gonna be alright Maya cause you have me and when it comes to situations like this am just the person you need!. Am Doomed, Maya whisper's softly.

The next few days where nothing but an utter nightmare for Maya she just can't help herself from falling harder for Desmond and the harder she falls the harder Mia works. Mia as Suddenly made it her life mission to matchmake Maya and Mr Williams. Firstly, she arranged an awkward meeting between just her, Maya and Desmond under the disguise of urgent work, which ended awkwardly. She then also made fake calls and messages between both of them. And she didn't just stop there, they were also picnics, late night work, accidental meetings in parks, restaurants,lakes. And Maya isn't liking the idea of any one of them at All!.

The next week Maya went straight to Mia to tell her in the most polite way possible for her to stop. But immediately Mia saw Maya she started ranting about her next plan, and Maya couldn't hold it anymore, and shouted at Mia. Can you just stop, Stop with all the plans, all the fake meetings, all the fake set up's, it's getting too much and you are just making me look desperate and you pathetic, I don't need your advice, I don't need your help, it's my business, it's my feelings and breaking news , you can't feel my feelings for me , so can you just leave me alone and let me be, Having to joggle work and my private life is more than enough and now this please Mia, Just Stop! . Maya is taken aback from her sudden harsh behaviour but the deed been done and there's no taking back what she said. An arrow of guilt hits Maya's heart as tears stream down Mia's eye's as she runs out of the company. Maya tries to follow her but mia takes a taxi and doesn't look back, Just then did Maya realize what a jerk she's been to mia , She's the only person who's stood by her so far and the only one who's never looked down on her Love , instead she tried everything within her power to make it work, giving her countless advice, telling jokes during gloomy days, she's always been there even when it wasn't convenient for her and now all Maya did was to push her away.

Throughout that week Mia didn't come to work Maya and her other colleagues tried to call her but it was to no avail, instead she submitted a sick leave to the company. Maya had made up her mind to visit Mia for the first time and make it up with her. On their last day of work that week , Mr Desmond suddenly asked to see Maya , at first she thought it was about work because they still had some unfinished business, but it was someone completely different when she entered his office, there was wine on the office table and two cups with candle light's, it was late and there wasn't any meetings with any clients so she was a little curious about the scenery. As she steeped in Desmond looking as dashing as usual held her hands and led her to have a seat. I just wanted you to have a little rest you've been working incredibly hard and I just wanted to have a nice time, Desmond said as he sat down.

Wow, that's so thoughtful of you, thanks for letting me have the honour of taking leisure times with you.Maya said. it's my pleasure Desmond said with one of his dazzling smiles, which gave Maya goosebumps and put butterflies in her stomach, and she didn't hide it. That night they drank together, chatted and even danced it was a very beautiful night for them both, as Maya was about to leave, Desmond suddenly asked, " Will You Be My Girlfriend Maya", she was taken aback from what she heard too surprised and stunned to speak. I...I...I.... will, I will be your girlfriend Desmond. At that very moment it was as if time had stopped for both of them to savor the moment. Desmond rushed forward and kissed Maya passionately and she kissed him back back with vast hunger In her eyes, it was at this moment that she understood that she was truly deeply in love with Him.

During the weekend Maya went to Mia's house to make up with her. She knocked and shouted but no reply but she didn't plan on leaving without seeing Mia.she then sat by her door step and said , I know I have hurt you deeply and am sorry I was kind of selfish and I have realized that now I always thought about myself even during the times things were hard for you but not for once did you push me away or query me and sorry for being self centered am sorry for loosing control am sorry for not being a friend am sorry for everything mia and if you will let me I would like to be your friend again, Your True Friend. And then The door opened and Mia literally flew into Maya arms, the hugged so tightly that they almost couldn't breathe but neither of them cared. Never do that to me again , okay? , Mia whispered into Maya's ear's sobbing gently. Never again, Maya replied.
