After assistant Janine had checked on Specky's stable vital signs for the final time, Lynney and Mrs Dawson were extremely relieved that they could take home their beloved sweetie at long last. With packs of the specially overseas-ordered medication and critical care for the dear little one, the joyful mother-and-daughter thanked those at SLO clinic who have painstakingly taken great care of Specky while she was ill before leaving. Walking out of the clinic, Lynney felt a weighty burden being lifted off her and what a better way to celebrate than taking a much-needed relaxing stroll with Mrs Dawson and Specky in arms down the sweet cherry blossom tree-lined street.
