Later that day in the early afternoon, Lynney had expected that Andrew would take her to the hospital for her brain scan appointment which he managed to arrange very quickly indeed. Little did she know that he would pull over and stop by the neighbourhood park not too far away from her apartment home. Left wondering in surprise, he took her hand and led her to the area of the lush gardens where new cherry blossom trees were planted and their lovely flowers blossoming at this late spring season. A breathtaking flurry of soft pink petals fell and descended upon their shoulders and they walked down the pebbled path, delighting their hearts.
