Chapter 13 He opened the car door for me and then closed it. I wasn't sure what kind of car it was because I didn’t know much about cars. I could recognise a BMW or a Mercedes as they were obvious, but this one was unfamiliar. "Where shall we go for lunch?" he asked, having got into the driver’s seat and fastened his seatbelt. I had no idea. The only place I could think of was Pizza Express. I couldn’t bring myself to suggest it, somehow. He saw my hesitation, and said: "Somewhere in the countryside? Anywhere decent?
