Aarti was waiting for me in the change room when I finally got in to work. She was already dressed in scrubs, her energy far too chipper for how early it was.
"Apparently, we’re having airway training this morning," she said with a grin. "And guess what? You’re about to meet the gorgeous airway fellow I’ve been raving about."
Not in the mood for gossip, I forced a tight smile. "Good morning to you too, Aarti."
