Allusion's Last Day/Goodbye Allusion/Kelpie/Scorpion

Allusion's POV

I was first to wake up and I was getting sad knowing the kindest human I had ever met was going to leave me and probably wouldn't be back for me. But I was going to make the most of our time together. Today I was thinking maybe we could go to the secret part of my forest that only a few other wolves knew about. It was home to some 'weird' creatures to say the least and I was sure Madelyn would love it. But I didn't want hunting to be a burden so I tried to hunt myself but I could only catch a rabbit. I felt a little useless but I wasn't trying to let Madelyn see that. But when I got back she was awake and clearly saw I was feeling.

Madelyn's POV

When Allusion got back I saw she was feeling a bit down. I asked what was wrong and told not to lie. She looked at the floor and spoke sheepishly "I just feel.." She trailed off and I told her to continue. So she spoke very fast and said "I just feel useless. I'm a wolf who can't hunt and one who can't fit in for her life!" I started patting her head and told her "You shouldn't try to fit in because your personality is what makes you, well you and your personality is what makes me love you. Who cares if you can't hunt I'm sure you can learn." She looked at me with her big blue yes and said "you mean it?" "Of course I mean it!" she looked much happier now and said she had a surprise but we had to go back to her pack first.

Goodbye Allusion

Allusion's POV

We started running back towards my pack but we took the meadow way instead of the way we came. For our break we stopped in the meadow and it looked so beautiful with all the blooming flowers. I rolled around for a couple minutes while Madelyn laughed then we continued running. I took her directly to the hidden grove. Oh and the 'weird' creatures that live their are the Fawnicks which are mystical deer that have moss, leaves and other plants all over them. The Nickers which are horses that have glowing mushrooms growing on their backs and leave feathers on their feet. The last mystical creature that remains there is griffin. The last of its kind it also plants all over it. When I showed Madelyn the grove she was stunned and overjoyed. She made great friends with the Fawnicks she seemed like she had known these animals all of her life. One of the Nickers even let her on their back. I had made friends with Griffin here a long time ago. But when I asked the griffin what time it was because she was the all knowing she said it was 2:00.I knew it was time to escort Madelyn away. We started running towards the beach which wasn't that far away from the forest.

Madelyn's POV

I loved that grove but when we heard the time we had to get moving so we started running towards the beach. When we made it to the beach and I saw Kelpie you would have thought Allusion's parents had died. She looked so sad. When we went up to Kelpie we had to say our goodbyes. Time really flew with Allusion but I definitely have a soft spot for her. I said my goodbye first "Allusion I definitely love you and I want to thank you for the great time we got to spend together you're such a kind wolf who deserves a bunch love. But remember you're not useless and I love you." she looked a little bit happier and then started her goodbye "Madelyn you're really the only human who had ever loved me and been kind to me. I want to thank you for that and I hope if we don't end up bonding that I get to see you again." I hugged her and then patted her head and goodbye. I watched her trot away for a moment then shouted "Goodbye and have fun Allusion!" she looked back for a second and then started running back to her pack.

Kelpie

Kelpie's POV

It seems like Madelyn had a great time with Allusion I'm not one to doubt myself but I don't think I could compare to Allusion. I really liked her bright green eyes they looked they were emeralds. When she turned to me she asked "should we go to our camp?". I then started heading towards and said "are you coming?" She immediately caught up. When we got back to camp I already had elk there. I had gone on a lone hunt before she came. I'm a little impatient so I just did it to get it done so that way I could spend more time with Madelyn.

Madelyn's POV

Kelpie sounded like a goddess she looked like one as well. I could tell she was a pretty prepared wolf. I enjoyed talking to her and she seemed like a very interesting wolf. If you ever got a chance to hear her stories you would also want to sit there for hours. One of the stories I really liked was when she was with a trial human and they got caught in a snow storm while in the middle of one of the challenges. Kelpie had to save the human because she almost fell off the edge. My second favorite story was how she came to realize the gods were real. Her mum died and she said that night  the goddess herself went to her and told her that her mum and made it to the clouds. Kelpie was very proud and looked to the sky when she told that story. I was pretty tired after listening to her stories and decided to cuddle up to Kelpie for the night.

Scorpian

Kelpie's POV

I awoke to a snoring Madelyn who had drooled on my fur. I knew I shouldn't have let her cuddle up to me. I started walking to the nearest lake when I heard Scorpion yelping. I rushed to where the sound was coming from I stumbled upon a b****y scene. A couple humans and wolves dead it was horrifying. I raced up to my brother who was calling out in pain. It was one of the trials, his human thought they had boned and against my brothers judgment the human still went through the trials. If you had bonded with your wolf, the wolf and human would have combined health to survive this massive poison snake attack. But atlas now the human was dead and my brother was suffering. He wouldn't make it I knew that deep down. He looked at me with pain in his eyes and said "End my suffering Kelpie I love you but I know this is a battle to fierce for me." I looked at him and with one swipe of my claws to the neck he had died. I stood there and mourned for a second but it wasn't uncommon for wolves to end the suffering of others. It just sucked my brother had to go this way all because of a human who wouldn't listen. I didn't want this fate so I quickly ran to the lake and washed off. I ran back to Madelyn as soon as I was done. "Madelyn get up." she looked at me in confusion. "We have to report the deaths." She looked at me in shock "What?"

Madelyn's POV

I was shocked when she said we had to go report the deaths. I was thinking to myself what deaths? But I went with her and when we arrived she looked down the whole time she was talking to to the Alpha and trial leader. "Scorpion, Colossal, Nemo and three male humans." she spoke with no emotions. I stood there still shocked. Both the leaders spoke and gave her their condolences for her brother. The poor wolves and humans died in the trials this was not a fate I hoped to meet. We walked back after she said that and when we got to camp she looked me dead in the face and said "If we don't hear each other out we will end up like them." I looked at her and shook my head yes. She looked very sad but I couldn't blame her she had to kill her brother. She just told me to go to bed early and we'll do more work tomorrow. I went to bed not wanting to argue seeing how she just lost her brother.
