Goodbye Everest/Allusion/A Sweet Trial Wolf

Everest's POV

Madelyn fell asleep on me and I didn't feel like waking her up so I just went to bed. When we woke up we went for a quick hunt and caught an elk for our last meal together. I was getting a little bit emotional because I had grown to like Madelyn.

Madelyn's POV

The last task we had to do was get to my other trial wolf location as fast as possible or at least before 3:00.We started off walking and eventually stumbled upon Dakota and Vain walking so Dakota and his Trial wolf came trotting towards me and Everest. Everest was obviously annoyed by Vain and Dakota because he let out a snarl which Vain gave one back. Dakota said "I just wanted to come up and say hi and ask for your number." I gave him my number and he said bye and went off. We were real close to the forest when we decided to run the rest of the way there. We got there at about 2:45 and I saw Allusion so I turned to Everest and said "I'm going to miss you and I enjoyed our time together Everest." He thought for a second and then said "I'm going to miss you as well till next time." He then ran back towards the mountain and now it was time for me to go with Allusion.

Allusion's POV

The human Madelyn had arrived with Everest faster than some other humans so it was good to see she could be fast if needed. I was super happy to meet Madelyn, she seemed so sweet. I'm a chatterbox so the whole way to our forest camp I was asking questions. I now know her favorite food is Bacon, she has two brothers and one sister, and she has a cat Named Tiger. She didn't seem to mind me asking a bunch of questions. Other people would normally just ask me to shut up so it was a nice change for once. We reached the camp and our first task would be hunting with isn't my strong suit.

Allusion's POV

I was quite happy with our performance. I thought Madelyn did really good with the shot. Once we d**g the elk back to camp we made dinner which was quite good cooked. It was a better switch from raw meat. After we ate dinner she asked if I had any friends and to be honest I don't I'm considered annoying or too childish. I didn't want her to think I was a loser so I told her I had a couple friends. But it was a big lie. I didn't want her to think down on me. because I didn't have friends. We decided to go for a run together Madelyn seemed to love the forest.

Madelyn's POV

I'm sure allusion could tell that I loved the forest. It was so majestic the big redwood trees, the beautiful lake. To top it off it seemed as though I had the sweetest trial wolf to ever live. So when we went for a walk and she showed me the lake we decided to go for a swim which was refreshing. I still missed Everest a little bit though but Allusion was a nice change. I was excited to work with her tomorrow as well. After our swim we headed back towards the camp to just relax for a while. Allusion reminded me of a dog in a way. She loved being pet and always following behind me. We dozed off a while later.

Madelyn's POV

As with Everest the first task was hunting. When it was time to start heading towards the hunting grounds Allusion seemed to get nervous. I asked her if there was a problem and she replied "Well I don't want to let you down." I looked directly into her eyes and said "there's no way anyone in this world could let me down cause everyone makes mistakes." With my reply she seemed much happier and we decided together she would start pushing them through the forest valley. There was like a path where rocks surrounded the sides so it was a perfect chance to strike. She started pushing once I was hidden in a bush and once the back elk came I shot an arrow and hit its neck. We had a perfect elk and we exited about it. I could already tell I liked this wolf. But she did seem like she always wanted to please and maybe seemed a little weak, but that's nothing to turn her down for.
