Caroline paced back and forth in the room that was suddenly too small and suffocating. She dragged a hand through her hair as she continued walking. There had to be a way out of this, there had to be. She couldn't just stay here. She couldn't simply sit around waiting for mysterious strangers to decide when they felt like giving her answers. That was insane. Everything about this was insane. Caroline stopped walking and groaned. Her phone. If she had her phone, she could at least call someone. But her phone was still inside her bag and her bag was nowhere in sight. She had searched the room twice already. "Great." She threw her hands into the air. "Just great."
