"Your Majesty!"
Kael didn't stop as seraphine yelled after him
"Kael!"
she called out yet again only to get ignored by him.
His footsteps echoed through the hallway as he continued walking fast as though he was trying to outrun something or someone.
Behind him, Seraphine hurried to keep up.
"Your Majesty, wait."
Kael ignored her.
His jaw remained clenched.
The only thing on his mind was getting as far away from Caroline as possible.
The scent was still lingering....still tormenting him.... still making it difficult to think.
Every instinct inside him remained restless and unsatisfied.
His wolf had not calmed down since leaving her room.
If anything, it had become worse.
Mate.
His wolf growled the word again.
He shut it out or at least tried to.
