Caroline held her bag tightly against her chest, she was finally leaving.
The thought still felt unreal.
After everything that had happened over the last few days, she was finally going home.
Morwenna watched her with amusement.
"You seem eager."
Caroline looked at her.
"Wouldn't you be?"
Morwenna couldn't argue with that.
Caroline adjusted the strap of her bag.
"Well."
She glanced toward the front door.
"I guess I'll be going."
She had barely taken two steps when Morwenna spoke.
"Actually."
Caroline stopped, a frown immediately spreading across her face.
"What?"
Morwenna smiled slightly.
"I have a faster way to get you home."
Caroline immediately looked suspicious.
"A faster way?"
The witch nodded.
Caroline wasn't sure she liked the sound of that.
