Time To Move On

1601 Words
The car rolled to a stop in front of the mansion. Silver came out, her body tense as she prepared for yet another fight with Burke. He's been insufferable since Maya left, and because Felicia had to remain at the hospital, he fell under Silver's care, something he's decided to make a living hell. Silver knew she could easily walk away, have him hire a live-in nurse, but she couldn't possibly live with herself if something happened to him because she left him under the care of a stranger. Sighing, Silver removed the wheelchair from the car's booth before going to his side of the car. She opened it and met Burke still leaning on his back, his expression that of someone who had all the time in the world. She groaned. “Burke, come on, you have to help me help you, please." She said softly, trying to appeal to a conscience Burke clearly didn't have. “Don't make me leave you here." She threatened, his head snapped towards her, his eyes sharp and furious. “You wouldn't dare." He snapped. Silver crossed her arms and c****d her head, showing him just how serious she was. Burke sighed and grabbed the crutches beside him. He lifted his body to the edge of his seat until his legs dangled out, and he used the crutch to support his weight as he finally lifted off the seat. Silver quickly rolled the seat behind him, and he dropped into it, cursing from the pain. “I f*****g hate this." He muttered. Silver refrained from telling him sorry, knowing he would probably latch onto it and start an argument. He refused her help and wheeled himself inside, and then stubbornly proceeded to climb the stairs with his crutches despite Silver's protest. He was panting very hard when he got to the top. Silver walked close to him, hoping he would lean into her, but he ignored her. They reached his room soon, and Silver struggled not to look around. The last time she was in here, he had accused her of infidelity and then dragged her out. Burke sat at the edge of the bed, sweating profusely. Someone knocked on the door, and when Silver turned around, she saw it was her mother. Silver fought against a frown as Tatiana carried a tray of fruits in, and she placed it on the table. The woman turned around, a bright smile on her face. “I'm so glad you're okay, sir,” Tatiana said. Silver tried to hide her wince, but Burke noticed. He looked at Tatiana. His mother had wanted to fire her after the infidelity, but he had ensured her job was intact; now he regretted it. Maybe none of this would have happened if Tatiana no longer worked for them. Clearing his throat, Burke raised his chin as he spoke. “You're fired, pack your s**t and leave my house." Burke barked, meeting Silver's eyes after delivering the words. He waited patiently for a reaction, but he got none, which infuriated him more. “Get out of my room, both of you!" He boomed. Tatiana gasped, holding her chest. She tried to move closer to him, but Silver caught her in time. “Mama, no. Let's go. It's for the best anyway." Burke wanted to speak and cause Silver half the pain she's caused him, but she was already escorting her mother out of the room. He let out a groan, his body aching from the flight up the stairs. He wished he had gotten help, not from Silver, obviously, but someone else. Outside the room, Silver led her distraught mother down the stairs. Immediately they reached the landing, Silver reached for the ill-fated apron tied to her neck and yanked it off. Tossing it to the ground, she stomped on it. Oh, how she's wanted to do that for so long. “Silver, you have to speak with him, please,” Tatiana spoke softly. Silver paused, her nostrils flared. “Are you kidding me? Like hell I'll speak to him. You should be happy!" Silver scoffed. “But I need the job," Tatiana argued, making Silver shut her eyes in irritation. She couldn't believe it. “Mama, I don't get it. Do you enjoy being humiliated? Because I don't understand why you would still want to keep this job, and please don't tell me it's because of the money, because you have money, you've been saving for years now, and you no longer have to take care of me!" Silver seethed, throwing her hands up. Tatiana whimpered, a shudder ran through her body, and she went to sit. Silver watched the woman, waiting for a response. Tatiana sighed, looking at her daughter. There was so much she wanted to tell her, so much she wished she understood, but now wasn't the time. Wistfully, she looked around the house she had lived in during the week and worked in for the last 35 years. This was her second home; she found her first love in this house all those years ago. A tear rolled down her cheek. Silver scowled. “Ma, are you serious? Does this job mean that much to you?” Silver asked in disbelief. Tatiana sniffed, shaking her head, a small smile played at her lips. “No, child. I'm just reminiscing. You are right, it is time for me to move on." Tatiana said, nodding decisively as she walked into the room that's been hers for so long. An hour later, Silver helped her put her bag into the back of her car. They hugged tightly before Tatiana entered the car, and Silver waved her goodbye, promising to come see her before the week runs out. “Be careful, Silver. These people are more dangerous than you know.” Tatiana whispered. Silver nodded and blew Tatiana a kiss before stepping back as the car engine started. “Drive carefully," Silver said to her driver, and he nodded at her. After the car was gone, Silver stormed into the house and rushed up the stairs, ready to make Burke pay for humiliating her mother in such a horrible manner. Silver knew he did it to get to her, and she was going to make him regret it. When she reached the door, she kicked it open with her foot. Burke's head jolted up to meet her gaze. He was still on the edge of the bed, but his clothes were missing. Silver froze, her mouth opened slightly as her wide eyes trailed Burke's taut chest. She watched in amazement as the smooth line of his muscles shifted almost every second as he drew in shallow breaths. Against her will, her eyes went further below and she ogled his ridged and defined abs. She swallowed when her eyes followed his lean waist to his…shit! She turned around quickly. “Burke, what the f**k?!” She barked. She heard the man chuckling behind her, and she furiously turned around in time to catch his hard d**k twitching between his legs. "Shouldn't I be the one asking you that? You barged into my room." Burke taunted, lazily pushing back further into the bed until his back rested on the bed’s headframe. Silver was hypnotized. Gently, but very challenging and provocative, Burke spread his legs, his eyes on Silver as he reached forward and wrapped one strong palm around his straining and muscled flesh. Silver jumped, her heart racing as the air in the room suddenly thickened. She had forgotten what brought her to his room to begin with. And why was he doing this? Didn't he hate her? But Silver also knew that hate and lust could co-exist perfectly; the wetness that just dropped into her panties was all the evidence she needed. She clenched her legs together, her teeth too, forcing herself not to speak as she watched Burke play with himself. He was intentional with the action, a long, firm stroke that made his thick head redden and produce milky liquid. Silver licked her lips. She wanted to lick him. “Come here," Burke commanded, crooking his finger at her. Silver jolted forward, stopping immediately when her brain dropped a subtle reminder that this wasn't something she was supposed to do. But her body rebelled; it begged her to take just a few more steps forward. She didn't have to sleep with him; she could just lick the creamy liquid, make him fondle her boobs, and maybe tease her c**t until she combusts. It would be amazing. It would make her come alive. It had been a while. Silver looked from where Burke was still pleasuring himself to his face. He smiled at her, and for a moment she was rooted in the past. She remembered just how good Burke was at pleasuring her; she only had to give in. But then it came to her again just how ruthless Burke had been. He threw her out with a pregnancy, and not once did he check in to find out how she was doing, if she survived. The lusty haze washed away from Silver's eyes, and Burke sighed when he saw her straighten up. He released his d**k and dropped his head on a pillow. “Close my door on your way out." He said dismissively “f**k you." Silver retorted. “Nah, you won't." Burke taunted and waved her off. Silver turned around and walked out, intentionally leaving the door open. That was it, she was getting him a nurse. No way she would care for him after this.
