“Nasaan si Cheska?” I asked Marie again noong makita ko siya sa Admin Building. Nagulat si Cailee sa lakas ng boses ko.
“Sorry, baby girl,” I told the kid.
“Hindi ko alam Ace. Ano ba kasi ang nangyari?” tanong nito.
Naihilamos ko ang kamay ko sa mukha. “Wala siya sa CCTV. I know someone helped her.”
“She is not prisoner in here, so…” Nagkibit balikat siya. Napangiwi ako.
“I’m not saying she is a prisoner. I am just… worried,” I replied.
“She will be fine. If you are worried about your babies, they will be fine.” Marie smiled at me started to walk again.
“Do you know when she left?”
“Why do you keep asking us about Cheska?”
“I know you girls are close tight. She will tell you where she is.”
