“Willow, if you don't talk to us, then we can't help you”, my doctor said for the millionth time as I sat there staring blankly at the table in front of me. I wish there was some way that I could tell them that there was no point in trying to fix me. I was beyond broken and there was nothing that they could do that would ever help me. I could feel the frustration and exhaustion in her voice as she let out a heavy sigh and placed her clipboard down. She removed her glasses and rubbed her nose before saying, "That's enough for today, Willow." I stood up silently. As I walked out into the hall, I made the choice to go to the bathroom. I reached for the door, and it swung open suddenly, causing me to step back in surprise. The warden, Mr. Johnson, emerged from the bathroom in front of me.
