Morgan and Gabe relaxed on the front porch with their cups of coffee. They were working on their second cup when Morgan stretched her foot out and, using her toes, gave Gabe"s shin a light kick.
"Don"t you have a couple of phone calls to make?" Morgan reminded him, hoping she didn"t sound like a nag. Gabe looked up from his coffee with a grimace but pulled the phone out of his pocket and made the first call.
The call was to Ben, who quickly agreed with Gabe"s plan and arranged to meet him at Morgan"s within a half-hour. Hanging up, Gabe set his phone back down on the table and reached for his coffee cup. But Morgan was too fast for him, and she grabbed the cup, pointing to the phone.
