Lana’s POV The next morning the entire company buzzed like a disturbed beehive. I hadn’t even made it to my desk before snippets of whispers floated toward me. The news had already spread like wildfire: Adelle had been fired. At first, I thought it was another rumor born out of yesterday’s drama, but when I caught a glimpse of her desk being cleared out by an intern under HR’s watchful eyes, reality hit.
