Lana’s POV The following day arrived like a sunrise that refused to hide its brilliance. The D-day of the Star-Moon Pack’s awards ceremony. My heart had barely slept the night before, a flurry of excitement, nerves, and that gnawing awareness that my name was, somehow, on the guest list. I’d never been invited to such an event before. And now… here I was, dressed in the satin blue gown Damon had given me, my reflection a mixture of awe and disbelief. The venue was dazzling. Gold banners fluttered from carved wooden beams; chandeliers shaped like crescent moons cast a soft glow over the marble floors. Everywhere I looked, werewolves moved with grace and poise, warriors, emissaries, and Alphas dressed in tailored uniforms and gowns that whispered wealth. I was led into one of the lounges
