Lana’s POV The evening sky bled into soft shades of orange and mauve as I sat cross-legged on my bed, the vanity light illuminating my room in a faint glow. I had clothes scattered around me, half rejected, half undecided, as I tried to prepare for Issac’s birthday party. My hair was in loose waves, and I was still debating whether to go for a deep red lip or something neutral when my friend, Bella barged in without knocking.
