We walk through the last of the forest and into the clearing in front of the packhouse, no one has said a word while we have walked back. The twins took the lead while Josh is walking behind everyone and despite being offered help he insisted on being the one to carry Noah's body home while Emma has walked numbly next to me while I've tugged her along.
I hear noise and look up to see Sophia, Jake, Savannah and Mia all coming out of the packhouse looking both relieved and worried. We haven't spoken to any of them as we all agreed that this isn't something that should be said over link but Mia would have felt incredible pain when Noah died so at the very least they will assume that either he or Josh are hurt.
