We work our way through the tunnel and it feels like it goes on for miles. My knees suddenly feel wet and I look down to find that the floor of the tunnel is now wet and there is water slowly running towards us, there's not a lot of it there so hopefully we are nearing the end.
"I can see some light ahead, Alpha," Lewis whispers and I'm relieved to know that we are getting to the end. We work our way around a bend in the tunnel and we all cover our eyes as bright light blares in and hurts our eyes and now I understand why there's water running inside, there's no door at this end of the tunnel.
