“Come on, Keith. We have tests we can’t miss, friends to harass, and you’re just standing there watching me.”

“So, your beautiful and I want to look at you. But if you insist, come get in the car.”

“Finally!” I grin. Then, as sarcastically as possible, “And thanks for the compliment.”

He just laughs while we get into the truck and drive to school. I mean, we talked but he did most of the laughing because I did all the talking.

We finally got to school to see all of our friends. Jay, Riley (whose a part of the pack), Todd, Chrisy, and Beth are waiting for us on the front steps. I bound out, like the wolf I was, and called, “Hey, guys. What’s up?”

They called back, “Nothing,” But I knew they were lying.

Riley was signing to me in wolf, “Come on, let’s go in. You and Keith have to come in and take all the tests. Your mom and dad told me to make sure you do.”

I projected my thoughts to his, that means no flashing, no running, no nothing.

Keith smiles his understanding. Then leaned down and whispered, “You keep being bossy, I might make you obey me. Not just your alpha and parents.”

I stiffen and nod my own understanding. I don’t like it, I don’t have to like it, but I understand. So, I cursed him in a language he doesn’t know, but he gets the jist of it and laughs. All while Riley cringes like he’s in pain.

I ignore the rest of them and walk in the building. But the last thing I hear, before the door closes, is Keith’s exasperated sigh.

The eight hours consisting of school, I took five tests, two quizzes, and still had homework. But the thing is I do my homework. And, of course, Keith is there with me and Riley. Riley gets to train with me because he will be my second, like his parents are for mine.

So, as soon as Riley, Keith, and I get home (Riley and his family lives with us), we go get dressed for our training routine. Then, go to the garage and start. Riley and I let out the wolves in us and Keith uses his fangs and claws, after he grows them. When we get ready and are changed, we go at it. First, Riley and I attack Keith. Then, Keith and Riley gang up on me. The final time, Keith and I go after Riley. As we cool down, we jog as humans.
