The weather had been clear, but now it was a murky gray color. It was amazing how fast the weather could change the closer they got to the sea. Three weeks after they had left, they found themselves just outside of town when a light rain fell from the sky. Luck would have it that the inn closest to the Southern point of the town had one room available for them to use. Leaving the cart and buggy in the stables for the night, Sebastian paid their fare and escorted Rebecca up to the room. It had been a while since they slept in a bed, usually spending the night under the stars. Unfortunately, the night would likely feel endless.
