-Now, big guy, where are we going? Ashley asked as she got off the roof, -We gon' live in the sewers from now on. He expressed his displeasure. -Wait, shouldn't we go somewhere else, like another country? -Well, if someone hadn't made me a fugitive criminal,Sorry, no names, but it's YOU. I would've gone to another country, hehe, but only after about 5 years! . He stomped his foot and slid the sewer cover . -Thank goodness you're not in jail; I should have left you there! Ashley's rage was rising. -You are now free to leave. He said it calmly getting inside the sewers, -OKAY, LET'S SEE WHO CAN SAVE YOU THE NEXT TIME! She walks away. ,,Who does he think he is, I saved his butt and this is how he reacts?!" ,,I should've left him alone from the beginning, why do I always do this and help people?" She walks and walks, but isn't she wanted now? -OH GREAT, now I'm wanted in a city I've never heard of because I tried to help someone and then abandoned the only thing that could've helped me! "Whatever, I'll just go somewhere, it's not like it matters anymore," she said to herself. After a few minutes of walking in alleys, Ashley began to feel anxious; after all, there are wolves seeking her, and they are fast and likely have excellent hearing and smell. -Why a wolf cop and not a lizard or something... She walked as quietly as she could. -BOO! screamed a voice from the shadows, frightening Ashley. -WHO ARE YOU? She screamed and prepared to flee, but was grabbed. -Hello fellow human, my name is Filbert! The creature said as he led her into the darkness. -Oh, that's nice, but could you please let me go...? She struggled to get her hand free from his grip. That's when it hit her: it was a massive talking snake! About 15m. -Are you scared? I'm not going to hurt you. The snake continued to cling to her, drawing her closer. -Please let me go, you stupid snake! She hit him with her other free hand, thinking, "God, how I wish those wolves would find me right now!" - I haven't eaten a human in ten years, so don't struggle! He yelled angrily. Ashley was struggling to breathe as he wrapped himself around her. - LET ME GO NOW! She yelled as loud as she could before he completely encircled her. -Now we wait for her to die before having breakfast! He exclaimed joyfully. The snake could still feel Ashley struggling after several minutes. -How come she's still alive? He questioned himself. Another 2 minutes passed. -Are you invincible or what?! DIE RIGHT NOW! Because the snake was hungry, his grip tightened even more. Ashley was about to lose consciousness when a special crocodile appeared. -Alright, I didn't want to help you, but your will to live sends chills down my spine. The crocodile said as he approached the snake. Then he snatched him and threw him in the garbage with all his might. Anyway, the snake didn't die instantly; and he was still holding Ashley, but she could breathe easier now. -What is your name? questioned the dizzy snake. -It doesn't really matter. The crocodile reacted by grabbing him once more, only to throw him again before finally letting go of Ashley. -Are you all right? The crocodile asked. -Do I look alright? She was irritated and angry. After all, he's been waiting for her to die for minutes. Her skin was bruised, she couldn't move, and her face was as red as a rose. She was obviously not ok! -It could have been worse. He said inspecting her. GET ME OUT OF HERE! She screamed at him. -Alright, what are you yelling for? I'm standing right here. -How come you didn't help me while I was being EATEN by that snake? WERE YOU WATCHING ME? She continued to yell. -Calm down, lady. He continued to carry her on his back. -I wanted to thank you, damn, for your help with the wolves. He was embarrassed, he admitted. -Waiting for me to die is a nice,,thank you." She was irritated and sarcastic. -I was debating whether or not to assist you, okay? He responded angrily. -Do you think twice about saving someone's life? Really? She became angrier. -Just shut up and don't irritate me. He said as they got in the sewers. Ashley was still a little bit red from the snake, and I would say she was exhausted from fighting for her life. -Well, lady, can you walk? The reptile questioned. -By carrying me farther, you can say you're sorry for letting that guy try to eat me. yawning, she said. -Don't you dare go to sleep on me. -Yes, yes, yes. She said snoozing. -REALLY? The crocodile argued, but decided against provoking her. In the end, he was to blame for not helping her. Ashley remained asleep as time went on. -Gosh, lady, how worn out were you? He didn't ask anyone in particular, but he kept walking until he came across an area where a small house could be built and wasn't any unpleasant smell. -Perfect. He then slowly put Ashley to sleep on a pillow and a blanket while unpacking his bags. He then set up a small stove that is typically used for traveling as well as the tent that was also in his bag. Finally, he made two servings of noodles waiting for Ashley to wake up. "I'm curious what her name is." Mentally, the reptile questioned. -Good morning, sun! Ashley said this as she stood up and yawned. -Don't call me that, get some noodles. Frustrated, he remarked, -Rude, but nice! She responded getting her food. The crocodile broke the silence by asking: -What's your name? -My name is Ashley! She said with her mouth was full of noodles. -Greetings, my name is Rowan. He responded. -Actually, my old friend had that name, but he died... Was it a close friend ? The crocodile expressed sympathy. -Not really, it was the name of my fish. Giggling, she said. -Very amusing. He was not amused... -If you're done eating, hurry up, we need to get some supplies. Rowan was irritated by the girl. -All right, all right, I'm coming. -Remember that if something bad happens, I will not assist you. -Rude. She was annoyed. They walked for a while before coming to a stop at a ledder that led to a sewer cover. -This place stinks! She said while holding her nose. -I don't care, we have to get up there. Ashley inhaled deeply and began climbing. It led to a very aglomerate zone. -What? Aren't we supposed to be hidden? She said as she stood up. -We're hidden; just follow me. Ashley attempted to follow Rowan, but there were many animal-people in her way. -Ughh, wait! she almost screamed. And that's when she lost sight of him. "AMAZING!" she exclaimed inside her head. Then a swarm of large animal-people rushed by, colliding with her. -WATCH OUT! She yelled, but it seemed like no one was listening. -Stop it! She yelled even louder, but nothing happened; they continued on their way, uninterested. She tried to flee the horde, but it was pointless. -ROWAN, COME HERE AND HELP ME! She yelled after him. And of course he didn't appear. A giraffe knocked her down to her knees, and just as another human-animal was about to stomp on her, some arms moved her out of the way. -AT LAST, ROWAN. She only expressed surprise since it wasn't the crocodile, but a fox. -Well, my name is Waylen, but that's okay. He said as he was leaving. -Wait! She took his arm and said, "Thank you very much, I would have been dead now if it hadn't been for you." She gave him a friendly smile. -It's all right, girl, I'll see you around. And he walked away. Ashley's face turned slightly red... It was because of the fox, she actually liked him. "He's cute," she thought, but her thoughts were cut short by someone... -WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN DOING? Rowan appeared out of nowhere and abruptly took Ashley's hand. -OUCH! Stop it, jerk, I was almost killed! She yelled at him, gaining only his attention. -How come you can't stop screaming?! He nearly yelled. -What, someone is going to hear me? They didn't help me when I needed it! She was angry. -Why didn't you follow me?! -You were too quick, dumbass! -Let's just leave this place for the time being... He was angry as he walked into another horde of animals, Ashley close behind him. -You know how difficult it is to keep up with you in this horde! She screamed as she watched him leave once more. -All right! He grabbed her hand and dragged her until they arrived at their destination. -Wow, that horde was insane... She mentioned as she was breathing for air. -Could you please stop whining? He said with a poker face -Yea sure mister, also you are still holding my hand. His gaze moved to the hands he held with her, a smear of red dust on his cheeks. -My bad. That was all he could say as he let go of her soft hand.
