Alex frowned when he heard Rachel, instantly he dropped the paper that was in his hands to see what Rachel was calling him to see.
Immediately Alex's eye landed on the paper Rachel was holding, he froze in shock. What in hell was this doing here, was his father involved in this inhumane experiment too, he thought.
"Alex, Alex, what's wrong," Rachel tugged his sleeves when she saw him in a daze, it seems like he recognized something on the paper.
Alex came to his senses immediately Rachel tugged his sleeve, "nothing's wrong," he replied quickly.
Rachel frowned slightly, she could see his shocked expression just now, but here he was saying nothing was wrong, she was sure he was lying, she knew that he didn't want to tell her for some reason of his, but she was hearing none of it.
