Daniel pulled into Darcie’s driveway a few minutes early. He arrived early to give himself a mental pep talk before going in. The past few weeks with Darcie had been heaven. She was the most beautiful, vibrant woman he had ever met. She was smart, funny, and sexy. She hid it well behind her button-up shirts and tough girl exterior, but he saw through it all. A goddess longing to break free that she kept on a tight leash. He wanted to release it but had promised he wouldn’t push her until she was ready.
A few times, he had thought she was giving him hints, but he was unsure. When it came to women, he wanted to hear point-blank what they wanted. No guessing. With Darcie, he was always on his toes. He never knew what she was going to say or do. He loved that about her.
