Chapter 3

(A/n - I will address the FL as "her" or "we" whenever she is in wolf form. They are both one but different conscious and different forms so it felt right to refer to them separately. It will also avoid any confusion.) Slowly the trees started to change, and stronger and more massive trees started appearing. The change indicated we have entered the forest Storm Forest is situated in. As we ran deeper and deeper into the forest, we understood why the pack was named Storm Forest. The forest was dense like after a storm and it smelled like rain. The wind was cold and the sunlight flickered in rays to illuminate the path. The scenery was breathtaking. Packed together with the allure of lush green, it felt like I was entering heaven. The more we felt we were getting closer to the pack boundary, the more serene we felt. We ran with an extra bounce, excited to run in the soft ground of this pack for the next month. The sound of water sounded in our ears, making our ears perk up. Feeling our fur stuck with dirt and grim, we followed the sound of water to take a quick dip. Breaking through the trees, we stumbled upon a lake. After quenching our thirst with the freshwater, we took a dip. After making sure I shook off every speck of mud, we moved forward in our journey, though with each step we started to feel conflict as reality dawned on us. I have never been to a pack full of Lycans. As a pack of werewolves, the only Lycans we ever stumbled upon were my Uncle Luke and my cousin Lola. They have been in my life for as long as I can remember so I'm used to them. An entire pack full of Lycans, the purest and strongest form of our species, is a different story. They are enormous enough to crush me with their fingers. Just thinking about it gave me goosebumps. Heck, even Uncle Luke terrifies me sometimes. I love him dearly but when he growls in his Lycan voice, I freeze. He does everything to hold in his Lycan aura but no matter how careful he is, his aura sometimes leaks and it always makes me want to bow in submission, and that's a big deal because werewolves never bow to anyone other than Alpha and Luna. This is enough to tell how much stronger and powerful a Lycan is. Only Goddess knows how Aunt Jennifer manages to live among the pack of Lycans. Of course, I'm being prejudiced here and I can be wrong about the rumors but one thing is for sure, Lycans follow their traditional rules and are much closer to their beast side than us werewolves, which makes them scary. You never know when the beast will tear you into pieces. Another reason they terrify me is their height. Man, are they enormous beasts! Their human height is big, a standard male height is 8' and that is enormous in comparison to the standard height of werewolves at 6' 5". Even female Lycans are enormous, standing taller than average male werewolves. It's a given that I, who stands at 5' 2", too small for a werewolf, will get intimidated by the beasts that are 8' to 9' tall. The only thing that makes up for my small height is my curves but that's the topic for another day. Shaking all the thoughts, I focused back on reality. The smell of my Aunt Jennifer, waffled into my nose, making me yelp in excitement. Soon, I faced my Aunt, my cousin, and my Uncle Luke. You can guess who was the dearest to me among the three. If your answer is Aunt Jennifer, you're wrong. It's Uncle Luke. I love Lola and Aunt but Uncle Luke is my best friend. I howled at them to show my happiness and came to a stop a few steps away from them. Hiding behind a tree, I changed into sweatpants and a T-shirt before re-emerging from the trees. As I moved away from the tree, I was engulfed in a tight hug from Lola. I squealed and we both jumped in excitement as we hugged each other tightly. "Oh, my Gosh, girl. I missed your sexy ass so much!" Lola squealed a little too loudly. "Oww, my poor ears," I pushed her away and covered my ears as her voice racked my ear drums. "Girl, I think you destroyed my ears." "It wasn't that loud," Lola huffed, defending herself. "Oh? Then what's that?" I pointed to Uncle Luke and Aunt Jennifer who were covering their ears. “Sorry,” a sheepish smile coated her lips as she apologized. "If you're done greeting your cousin, give me a hug too," Aunt Jennifer commented when Lola and I had our moments. It was a surprise she waited patiently until now. Patience and Aunt Jennifer are sworn enemies so you can guess my surprise. "Aunt," I cried out, hugging her. "I missed you so much." "Oh, my baby. I missed you so much too," she cooed and hugged me back. "You grew up a lot in the years I haven't seen you." She commented. "Damn, look at those curves, girl! I'm jealous," she whistled, looking me up and down. "Oh, I got these two years ago. After you visited us three years ago, my curves started filling and in a year, boom, I was suddenly this voluptuous," I told her what happened to my body in the three years we hadn't met. I was a tiny mini flatbread before but suddenly Goddess hit me with all her love and made up for my lack of height. "I see, Moon Goddess was extra gracious to you," she chuckled. "I would have been heartbroken if I didn't at least have curves with me. I got no height as you can see, if I didn't have curves as well, I would have lived a sad life," I joked. "What do you mean no height? You are at the perfect height. It's so easy to haul you up," she jested. Yeah, at the perfect height to give a blowjob to a Lycan, Lola snorted through mindlink. Excuse me! I was so baffled I could only think of saying excuse me. How the hell did she even reach that conclusion? Though what she said wasn't a lie. If I was standing in front of a Lycan in their beast form, I just have to lean forward to give them head, though I doubt I would ever be able to wrap even my hand around them considering how infamous they are for their monstrous girth. "Aunt!" I whined, not giving attention to Lola who was still snorting to herself. It wasn't that funny, I barked at Lola, shifting my focus back and forth on Aunt and Lola. Well, to me it was, she chuckled. "Okay, I won't tease you anymore," Aunt said. "When will my turn come?" Uncle Luke reminded me that I hadn't hugged him yet. "Uncle!" I squealed, quickly jumping up to hug him, though it was impossible to hug him properly because of his height. Uncle Luke chuckled as he picked me up by my underarms like a child, and held me at the appropriate distance so I could hug him. I laughed through tears as I hugged him, breathing in his scent. "How are you, firecracker? Should I even call you Firecracker now? It should be turtle now," he said humorously. "Uncle Luke!" I gasped, offended that he would come up with another nickname for me on the spot. As if Firecracker wasn't enough. "What? You don't like it?" he chuckled. "I don't," I huffed. "Then what about grizzly bear?" he muffled a laugh when I gaped at him like a fish out of the sea. "That's! That's even more offending," I squealed, offended. "Grizzly bear it is then," he decided my new nickname and lowered me to the ground. He was hauling me up like a child as if I weighed nothing and somehow it was more offensive than the nickname he had for me. "I will not talk to you anymore, Uncle Luke. You're no longer my friend," I wailed, walking to Aunt Jennifer's side. "Let's go, Aunt. I don't want to talk to your mate." "We all know how long you will stay that way," Uncle Luke laughed, knowing I won't be angry at him for long. He was right. I could never stay angry for too long. "I'm really angry at you this time," I glared at him. Aunt Jennifer smiled until her eyes twinkled, happiness radiating off her, and chuckled at our banter. "Of course," Uncle Luke said. "I won't be coming with you home right now. Be as angry as you can be with me gone." Saying, he turned into his Lycan in a flash and zoomed past us. "What just happened?" I asked Aunt and Lola. "Alpha might have called him," she said. The talk of the Alpha of this pack reminded me of something that has caught my interest recently. "Aunt, is it true this pack has three Alphas?" I asked curiously. A few months back I heard one of the pack girls talking about the Alphas of this pack. During the talk, she brought up the topic of how attractive the three Alphas of this pack are and how effortlessly they run their pack. They are infamous for their fairness too. It was only then did I found that this pack has three Alphas, though the two of them run the pack as Beta. "Yes, and no. Unlike how other packs think, we have one Alpha, but our two Beta have Alpha blood running through them. They are brothers, after all," she said. "Then what about the Beta? The one that is supposed to be the Beta?" I said. "He is the Gamma of the pack. He suggested to the Alpha about the position of Beta. Our pack wanted all three to run the pack but the Elders rejected our request so this is what our current Gamma came up with," she explained. "Why are Elders so against all three of them running the pack together? It's not like they are coveting three different packs," I commented. "That's Elders for you. They want absolute control over all the pack. That's why they are both an advantage and disadvantage to our society," she said. "We're here. This is where the houses of the pack start," she announced. I happily made my way inside the pack, thinking this would be my home for the next month. Little did I know fate had another plan for me. ~•~
