"I will never hurt you willingly, Iris". The words resonated in her mind but Iris felt them empty.
They were just words; they needed to be proven to make some sense to her. Sei just pulled her in his arms, and his face was so close to her that she did not seem to have enough of this moment. Everything felt right and in place and that was unfamiliar. But the feeling of peace and warmth was overwhelming. She wanted it and she wanted it to last for a lifetime.
