My Prince Charming

The play

I was in my class talking with Rachel about our school work. Suddenly, we heard somebody said, "Hello!"

I looked behind and saw Radi or should I say Prince Radian but he was in disguise as a girl. It has been a week since I got to know about his secret and still grind it awakward to talk to him sometimes. "Hello," I said.

"Hello Rani!" Rachel said as she waved at him.

"What are you guys talking about?" He asked as he sat beside me.

Did he had to seat beside me? Whenever he is close to me, I can feel butterflies in my stomach. "Um . . . We are Um . . ."

"We were talking about the play," Rachel said.

"The play?" He asked.

"Yes, in every year, we perform a play in school from the drama class and whoever performs the best, gets a scholarship for that," Rachel explained.

"Oh really?" He asked as he looked at me.

Why is he looking at me?

"I did not know that," he said.

Oops! I told him everything about this school except this. That's why he is looking at me like that? "Um . . . I forgot to . . . Um . . . Tell you."

"Avery girl, why do you hesitate so much when you talk to Rani?" Rachel asked.

I ignored her. Honestly, I have no idea why I act like that around him. I talk to to her boys too but I never had this type of problem. What is he doing to me? Does he have any supper natural power to make somebody like that or something?

The bell rang as our drama teacher came in our class. "Hello class! So, I have the play for you to perform for his year," the teacher said.

"Oh goodness, I am so excited about the play!" I exclaimed.

"You like to act?" Radi asked.

"Um . . . Yeah," I said.

"Rani! Avery is so good at acting! You should see her in middle school! She was so good and so good and so good . . . !" I put my hands on Rachel mouth.

"Just keep quiet, Rachel!" I said.

"Sorry," she said as she giggled.

"So class, our class will perform a romantic drama," the teacher said.

"And romantic drama?" The boys and the girls cheered.

"Yes, we are going to perform Romeo and Juliet," the teacher said. "So tomorrow, I will take test for everybody for their characters. Since we have less people, we can have some boys dressed up as a girl to perform or we can have some girls to dress up as a boy to perform. It depends how you act."

"Wow! Romeo and Juliet is my favorite!" Rachel said. "I love romance!"

"Yeah, everybody knows that!" I said.

"Don't make fun of me, Avery! I am the only girl here who actually know what romance is. You didn't even date any guy!" She said.

"Really? She didn't had any boyfriend?" Radi asked.

"Nope! Her big brother is too overprotective of her," Rachel said. "She is such a hero is all subjects except the subject of love."

"Oh shut up!" I said.

"Tell me more about her!" Radi said to Rachel and they started to talk about how stupid I am and stuffs. Like seriously, why is the prince of our country is so interested to know about me. Doesn't he have any other work? He is such an i***t! I wonder how he even became a prince?
