I waited by my father’s office door for Delilah. I had my suitcase packed by Abbie and a few magical items Tobias gave me for protection. He was going to make sure he knew where Sara was at all times. As long as she wasn’t near me then we wouldn’t have much to worry about. She usually stayed in the demon realm anyway.
Grayson hugged me. “Please be safe. I don’t have anything without you.”
“I’ll be fine Gray, I love you,” I said before I kissed his chin.
“I love you too Ari.”
I watched Grayson leave as Delilah arrived in minimal clothes and sunglasses. “My sister packed for you didn’t she?” she asked.
“Yeah, she did.” I wasn't sure how excited I was to be spending time with her but it was better I did than Grayson.
