Chapter 21
Third person's POV.
Amaya was laid on a flatbed unconsciously as a bald man was busy working on her back that was pierced through by a sharp arrow.
The bald man was a metal man who dealt with killing metallic poison or wolf bane. In other words, he was a doctor who specialized only in removing sharp objects from inside a wolf or a human.
The first image Amaya saw when she regained her consciousness was the bald man in a white coat, kneeling beside her. She heard soft footsteps and distant voices as she tore her eyes open.
When Amaya tore her eyes open dizzily, she was in a strange room she had never seen before. She looked around, and her eyes settled on a wooden ceiling. The room was dimly lit with candles, and the air was thick with the smell of herbs, and hot tea.
