Chapter 14 FLYNN'S WAS A BIKER bar: biker being bicyclists. It was on the West Side of the city on Rhode Island Street. There was always a dozen or so bikes parked outside, day or night. The bar was located between a car repair shop and a used appliance dealer. The entrance door was full of bike stickers, including a faded Zippee Messengers one put on years ago by Gerry Cortez. Rex found a spot outside and locked his bike on the railing. When he walked inside Sheila Szelgowski was already there sitting at a table. She waved to him, he waved back and headed toward the bar.
