"Ma'am Alexa, we have to leave." Paul entered the office to see Alexa going through her shopping bags.
"Okay." Alexa got up from the chair and followed Paul while holding unto the bags.
"Wait .." Evie said and they both turned to her "Call her Alexa without the ma'am okay?" Evie said, she didn't want people showing respect to Alexa that she didn't deserve.
"Okay ma'am." Paul answered with no intention of obeying her.
Paul has worked for the Elhandro's since Javier was little, he knew Javier well that if he would buy Alexa the there had to be something special about her so he had to give her some respect.
Paul and Alexa left the office, they took the stairs to the ground floor then they left the company.
"Uh.... Ma'am Alexa, do you know Master Javier before?" Paul asked as they entered the car.
"No, why'd you ask?"
"No reason. Paul said as he started driving. "About what Ma'am Evie said..."
"Please just do as she says I don't want any problem." Alexa said cutting him shut.
The rest of the ride was silent, Alexa was staring out the window exploring new sites that she had never seen before, it made her realize how her aunt and uncle shut her off from the world. she lived like a slave with them and now she was a slave again in the hands of a man she knows nothing about.
Her mind drifted to her school, she was already done with high school and was about to enter college to fulfill her dreams of becoming a doctor. She just hoped that Javier wouldn't stop her from achieving her dreams.
