Alexa, who was now bored continued sipping her drink while staring at others dancing. she spotted Javier and Evie in a corner talking as Evie kept eyeing her.
"Uh...Miss, would you like more wine?" The Bar tender asked making Alexa turn to him.
"Oh sure." She smiled before taking a glass of wine from the counter and slowly sipped it. Soon, she felt lightheaded, her eyes felt like they were spinning and she fell on the floor causing the glass in her hand to shatter but due to the loud music only people around her noticed. Evie smirked upon seeing her unconscious.
"I'll be right back." She said to Javier before excusing herself to a corner where she made a phone call.
Javier just remembered that his pet was in the party, he looked over at the bar because there was a small crowd formed there. His eyes flew open once he saw Alexa unconscious on the floor with the hotels medical team about to take her away.
"It's okay, I'll handle this." he said to the medical team. He carried Alexa to the elevator as everyone watched wondering why he cared about the unconscious maid, they soon went back to dancing.
'How did this happen?' he questioned himself as he checked her pulse and she was still breathing. he knew she didn't drink any alcohol because he personally made sure that none was served to her then how come this happened?
When the doors opened, he left the elevator and went towards his car. Paul was at home so he had to drive himself.
