VIOLET
My eyesopened to reveal I was in a strange place. It looked like an apartment ofsorts, a small living room, bedroom and kitchen all rolled into one. The onewall at the side was one huge window, nearly fully covered by curtains. A smallray of light shone right in front of my bare feet. I watched again in awe as Imoved my foot to the light and my skin didn’t burn or boil or contort inreaction to the sun.
I was immuneto the sun.
“Ahh, finally awake eh?” I heard Lucy say from behind me, but when I tried to turn I noticed I was tied to a chair. Wriggling did nothing to get me out of it.
“Don’t bother, Vi,” she walked around the chair, trailing her hand on my shoulder then knelt right in front of me, “I see you finally realized your powers, I’m so glad” her smile was so genuine.
