I was pulled into darkness by strong hands. I was about to scream until the light flickered on and revealed Tyler. He locked the door firmly behind me
Oh my God
He looks even more attractive up close. I had the sudden urge to kiss him and do all sorts of other things
"What are you doing?'' I asked him
He smirked
''Do i really need to have a reason to see my mate"
Oh. He does know.
''Just reject me already'' i mumbled.
Better now than never. Look at me then look at him. He's like a walking Adonis while I'm just..... Me.
A plain thin slave girl with only five sets of clothes and unkempt hair. Why would he possibly want me? Why would anyone want me? I look terrible
He raised his hand to stroke my cheeks and caressed them with his fingers. His touch felt like heaven. I couldn't help myself. I closed my eyes enjoying every bit of it

He leaned in and started to kiss my neck up to my jawline. I felt sparks fly everywhere. I was tempted to hold him and drag him closer but j just can't
My demons won't let me
Yeah he's attracted to me now but its probably because of the mate attraction nothing else. There's nothing special about me
What if he later finds out that I'm a worthless piece of s**t who can't do anything right? I'd be broken. Its better I end this now. It'll be best for both of us
''I'm sorry i can't do this'' i said gently pushing him away. That small contact sent chills down my spine. Thus is gonna be a lot harder than I thought
I unlocked the door and ran out of the room leaving Tyler there with a confused look on his face

It was time for lunch. I was sitting alone in the cafeteria as you can guess. Of course nobody wants to hang out with the school freak.
Did I tell you that no one knows who my dad is? My dad gave me strict warnings not to link myself to him outside. He didn't want me to embarrass him
He doesn't want people to know he has a daughter.
The entrance doors opened and all heads turned. Tyler, Stephanie and some other guys came in.
I found out him and Stephanie were family friends. My heart sunk at the thought, he'll probably find out she's better than me. Why would he want me when he has a girl like her?
I was in shock when he and The boys came over to where i was sitting. Tyler sat beside me. . The two boys sat across us.
Girls gave me envious glares and whispered furiously in obvious envy.
I became really nervous all of a sudden. Why is he here? Isn't he ashamed of me?
''Why aren't you eating?'' Tyler asked.
I flinched. I wasn't allowed to. The only time I ate was when i sneak out in the night when everyone is asleep plus nobody gives me money for school. My dad would prefer me to starve and die.
''I left my food at home, i was in a hurry'' I lied
''Here have mine''
He pushed his plate to me. This boy doesn't take no for an answer, does he?
''Its ok''
''I'm not leaving you alone till you do''
A bite of the pancakes wouldn't hurt.... would it?
''Ok''
I took a bite.
''Finish it'' he ordered
I did.
It felt so good. I ate it slowly because i didn't want to embarass myself. If i was alone i would have eaten it like a dog cause i was really hungry.
''Thank you'' i said when I was done
''No problem"
One of his friends coughed
''Introduce *cough * us''
"Oh sorry" Tyler chuckled "this is David my beta''He pointed to a cute blonde guy. ''And Charles my Delta''
They both smiled and waved at me. I smiled and waved back.
"Nice to meet you" they said
"Likewise"
We spent the remaining thirty minutes talking and laughing. I was really grateful for their company. I haven't had a full conversation with someone in my whole life
Charles was really funny while David was quite shy but he contributed to our discussions every now and then
We talked about everything from Tyler's previous schools to the boys' ex girlfriends and all
It was Friday meaning after lunch we could go home. When the bell rung, i grabbed my backpack , told the guys goodbye and left to go pick up Logan from schoo.

I carried Logan all the way to his room and put him in his cot. I smiled remembering Tyler, he reminded me so much of Logan.
I went to my room and lay on the bed staring at the ceiling. I've never felt so at peace like I do now
Today was a great day
I met my mate. He seems nice
I made two new friends... If I can even call them that
All traces of insecurities vanished from my mind. Tyler seemed like a really nice guy. I have a feeling the four of us will get along just fine
Everything felt so surreal. Is this what it feels like to be happy?
I noticed there wasn't any noise which meant the pack members had gone to their main house
Uh oh I'm alone with my dad.
Its 4:15pm.
He's usually out around this time. He'll come home drunk in the evenings.
When he does come home he beats me up real bad for little or no reason
I sighed
This is gonna be a long weekend.
