ELLIE’S POV The soft hum of the jazz music being played in the main section of the restaurant faded as I stepped into the bathroom, The sharp scent of citrus flowing into my nostrils welcoming me in. I darted my eyes every which way, searching for her. “Carina?” I called softly, uncertain if she would be willing to respond to a stranger. Why did I let Keenan talk me into coming here? Well, I guess I had no choice; it’s not like he can come into the girl's restroom himself. My platform heels clinked against the marble floor as I stepped deeper into the restroom; no one was in sight, just the gentle tap of water dripping from one of the faucets. Could that guy be lying about Carina coming in here? It would make sense for him to lie; he wasn’t exactly eager to help Keenan find her. I paus
