“Reina! Are you drunk?” I yelled as I settled into the empty seat beside her, staring at her in disbelief. She held up her thumb and index finger closely together, chuckling her voice slurry from alcohol as she replied. “Only a little bit.” closing her eyes shut as she rested her head on Nicholas’s shoulder. “I was barely gone for twenty minutes. How much did you drink?” I questioned. Nicholas groaned, passing me a glass of whiskey. “You are being a fun sponge. Relax! It’s a party; live a little.” I grabbed my glass, taking little sips of my drink. Truth be told, I wasn’t much of a drinker. I merely didn’t want to come off as a prude to everyone here, but I’m guessing it’s already too late for that. This must be the peer pressure parents are always cautious about. Nicholas stared
