Ch. 2

"Your daughter?" Milo looks confused at Doctor Gray. Doctor Gray turns back to the girl, he gently strokes her cheek, tear in his eyes. "Doctor Gray, we don't have time right now, she's going to die!" nurse Julia says. Doctor Gray snaps to her, "Right. Ok! Go get type A blood bags and prep one. I'll check for exit wounds and we need to get her into surgery now. Milo, please go into the waiting room." hesitantly he walks out the door. Milo walks into the waiting room just as Alpha Jace comes running in. He is followed by his dad and mom, Jay and Hanna. They walk over to Milo. "Milo what happened?" Alpha Jace asks. He looks up at him, "Finn and I were on patrol when we smelled blood, I could sense someone was in the woods, but it didn't seem like a threat at first. I was about to go look when she came running out towards us. She was scared and bleeding from her arms and one shot to her leg. I ran to catch her and I ran her here." He looks up at them, "but what I don't understand is what Doctor Gray said, he said she was his daughter. I thought they only had Raya and Ayden?" Both Jay and Hanna gasped and looked at each other. "It can't be. Milo, what does she look like?" "Uhh light brown hair, seemed in her early 20s, tall maybe 5' 6", I think I saw her eyes were blue. Oh and she had a big red streak going down the side of her hair." They both gasped again. "We need to call Ella, get her here" A few hours go by when Doctor Gray comes out. Ella runs up to him, tears streaming down her face. "Is it true? Eli, has our baby come home?" Eli wraps his arms around his wife and mate. "Its her Ella, I'm not sure how, but she found her way back." he rubs her back while she quietly sobs. "Doctor Gray, how is she?" Milo comes over. Eli looks up at him with a small smile, "She is ok. I was able to extract all of the bullets and we stopped the bleeding. I did a exam of her and she has been tortured and abused for quite some time." he says with tears in his eyes. Ella quietly sobs as Eli continues to rub her back. "May we see her." Alpha Jace asks. "She is sleeping but you all can see her for a few minutes." They follow Doc Gray down the hall. He is still holding his wife. Alpha Jace and Milo behind him and Jay and Hanna behind them. As they get closer to her room, Alpha Jace starts sniffing the air. He smells coconut and raspberries, he beging searching for the source. He pushes around the doctor and his wife and stops in front of room 245. He looks up at the door and opens it. There he see the most beautiful creature he has ever laid eyes on. She looks so peaceful as she sleeps. She has a monitor hooked up to her with an oxygen mask on to help her breath. "How did you know this is her room?" Doc Gray comes over. Jace turns to him, "she's my mate."
