Ch. 6

The Red Wolf? Analee thought. Treya, what does he mean we're the Red Wolf? We are very special Ana. The Red Wolf is very rare. Jace turns to Eli and Ella, "Did you know she was the Red Wolf?" They both shook their heads, "No, she was so young. Although, she did seem surprisingly strong for a child, she walked young and ran very fast. Her hair used to be bright red." Eli thought back. "But she was taken so young that we never knew for sure." Ella says. They all turn back to Analee. Treya yips at them and starts to run around. Jace turns to Eli and Ella, "I think she wants us to play." he smirks and then allows Link to take over. He shifts into a huge black wolf with silver highlights, matching the color of Treyas eyes. Eli and Ella allow their wolves, Mac and Skye, free as well, both of them are a dark brown with dark blue eyes. They all play and run around together under the moon. A few hours later Eli and Ella turn and head home, leaving Link and Treya alone. Link comes over to Treya, who is sitting by the Lake, her front paws crossed in front of her. Link licks her face and then lays beside her. He lays her head close to hers and whines. Treya, why is he whining Ana asks. Because he wants to mate with me. But I know you are not ready for that. You are still unsure and I will respect you Ana. Treya then licks Links face and walks into the water. She spends a few minutes in the water and then Link motions to head back. They both start back when they stop by the tree line. Link goes behind a tree and shifts back, Jace coming out in shorts. He holds one of his shirts up for Treya. Then he pets her fur, "Analee, I want you to imagine being a human again, focus on your hands, feet, every part of your body and allow the shift. I will turn around but I am right here. I won't leave you." He lightly kisses Treyas nose then turns around. A few cracking sounds are heard before Analee is standing on two legs again. She takes his shirt, sniffs in his scent before putting it on. She then clears her throat allowing Jace to turn around. He comes to her, hand out but then stops. He looks into her eyes She is so beautiful. I am so lucky. "You are very beautiful!" he states."And your hair is red. Ana reaches and pulls her hair to her side. It's a bright crimson red. How did that happen? she thinks. She looks down to the ground, her cheeks a pink blush, "Thank you. I don't believe I've met someone as handsome as you. Truthfully, I've never really met or been around kids my age. I was never allowed to go anywhere. Especially when company was over...which was often because I was the entertainment." Analees eyes shot up wide. She realized what she had just said. Horror filled her eyes and she started to run. "Analee wait!" Jace starts running after her. He is much faster than her and catches her easily. He grabs her arm and spins her to face him "Wait please! I won't hurt you or judge you for anything that happened before. I want to protect you and I will do anything to earn your trust. All I want is to show you true love and treat you the way you deserve to be treated." Tears were streaming down her face. Jace wipes them off her cheek and pulls her chin to look at him. "No one should be treated like entertainment! Especially a child." he growled. "I promise you, I will protect you! I will show you what true love is. I will do anything for you." his eyes never leaving her. He wanted so badly to just lean down and kiss her pain away. He wanted to find the man who treated her horribly and kill him. Analee looked into his eyes and she knew he was telling her the truth. She didn't dare let her guard down though because she has heard those words before. She simply nods. "I'm pretty tired, where can I sleep?" He smiles at her, "There are rooms on my floor you can choose from. Or you can stay with me if that makes you more comfortable. Come on." They start to walk side by side into the house. Jace wants to hold her hand but he made her a promise to do anything for her and he intends to keep it. Whatever her past, he will help her heal from it. They reach the top floor and Jace shows her his room, it is the center room on the left side. There is a room straight across from his that Analee chooses. She walks into the room and turns on the standing lamp that is by the door. The room is gorgeous, it is much bigger than her old room. There is a couch along the wall on the left side when you first walk in, walking through a bit there is a bed between two windows. There is a bench under the right window with pillows on either side.There is a door off to the right, Analee opens it and finds a full bathroom. She jumps into the shower and lets the water run down her body. Trying to wash everything away. She finds Coconut and Vanilla smell shampoo and conditioner and she washes her hair. There is also Coconut shower gel that she uses to clean her body. When she is finished, she grabs a towel and walks out. She looks around for a dresser or something but doesn't find anything. She is about to walk out the door when she spots a closet door she didn't notice before. She opens it to find a huge walk in closet. She looks around but doesn't find anything. So she decides to just put on the shirt from before. She towel dries her hair and climbs into the bed. It is so soft the moment she lays her head down she is asleep.
