Even myself was shocked by the loudness of my voice.
A text message arrived as soon as I woke up at ten in the morning. It was sent to me from an unknown number. But when I opened it, it was from Dyana Stevens—Denver’s former bed partner who’s proclaimed herself as his ex-girlfriend.
