I immediately stood up and walked towards the door. I was expecting to see Silas asleep on the couch, but I saw him sitting on a loveseat near the fireplace

He was partially facing the fire, so even though the ceiling light was off, I could see he was wearing a light gray sweater and sweatpants. He was also holding a glass. I don't know if it contained liquor or water
When he felt my presence, he looked back
"Hey, everything alright?" He asked gently

"Yeah...just thirsty." I murmured and went to his small kitchen. When I got there, I saw Dog sleeping on the floor, near the dinner table. I got a glass and opened the fridge
