what's long, hard and has c*m in it? cucumber. but i like the way you think. ** She stomped the whole way down the hall, which earned her quite a few annoyed looks from the teachers out in the hall, before she stopped in front of the door to her first class. Math with Mr. Johnson. She had had him last year as well. He was known for not taking any bullshit from any student. Which, of course, had made Luna want to annoy him as much as possible. She put on the biggest, fakest smile that she could muster before she swung the door open. As soon as she stepped into the class, she noticed everyone’s eyes on her, something she was luckily used to anyway. “Why are you late, Davidson?” Mr. Johnson shot her a look that she would describe as though she had just killed someone and walked around with their head in her hand. With the anger still boiling in her veins, she kind of wished that she had Mr. Rosewood's head in her hand, kind of like a trophy. “Well, you see, Johnson, someone told me to go to Hell. At first, I couldn't seem to find it, but here I am!” Luna winked at him and looked around the classroom with a proud smile when people started laughing. “Always a joy to have you here, Luna. Do take a seat.” She blew him a kiss and went to sit at the desk furthest away from the board. Her day had started off as s**t, but now Mr. Rosewood could come at her with all that he wanted. She would own his sweet ass. All her classes went by incredibly fast, maybe because she had been more focused on her anger towards Mr. Rosewood than the actual classes. Apart from art, she enjoyed art a lot – she loved to create things, especially drawings. The fact that she could take something that didn't look great, in her opinion, and make it look completely different, she absolutely loved that. She was looking forward to music as she had quite the musical talent, at least that was what her mom had told her, though she wasn't a fan of being near Mr. Rosewood. But for right now, she was going to enjoy lunch while sitting with the best of her friends. “Lu! I heard what you did in math!” Her best friend Mathias was laughing while looking at her as she walked over to the group and sat down. His green eyes sparkled with curiosity; she knew that he wanted to know more. She had known Mathias all of her life, he had been there for her in her ups and downs. She knew that she could always count on him no matter what, he truly was a great guy. She was proud to have him as her best friend. “What can I say? I am quite the sass queen.” She stood up and bowed to her friends with a big grin planted on pink lips. They started laughing along with her, which made the people around them turn their heads to look at what was happening. She quickly plopped down on the ground again, giving a big smile to her friends. She wouldn't call herself shy, she just didn't like any attention on her that she hadn't done anything to get – on purpose, that is. “What about the detention that you got from the new teacher?” Ida looked over at her with dreamy eyes. Luna could even see the hearts flying around her blonde hair like the one filter on MacBook. Please do not say that Ida had a thing for that devil. “Oh please, that's going to be so much fun!” She winked at Ida with a wicked smile that made the younger, by a few months, girl start blushing. She for sure had a crush on him. “Mr. Rosewood is really hot, I'm so jealous Lu!” Katie added, and started fanning her hands in front of her face with a laugh. Katie was stunning. The sun gave her red hair a golden glow and made her blue eyes shine even brighter. She had a hard time seeing it herself, but she was so beautiful. “I'm going to make a bet with you, my dear Lu,” Christian offered, though it hadn't been much of a question. Yet it sounded interesting to her, and everyone knew that she would never turn down a bet, no matter what. “And what might this bet be?” She asked, giving him a serious look. Betting had always been serious for her. He knew for a fact that she could, or would, never say no to a bet and he was always taking advantage of that. “I am betting that you can't get into bed with him,” Christian and Christina blurted out at the same time. They were twins and looked exactly like each other, well as much as a guy and a girl could look like each other. Christina had shoulder-length chocolate coloured hair that shaped her face oh so nicely and it made her blue eyes, with a hint of green, stand out. She was a quiet girl, but her eyes told everything that she would never say. Christian had the same chocolate colored hair, it wasn't short, but it wasn't long either. It had the right length as to where Luna loved playing with it. He had the same blue eyes, with a hint of green, though his eyes always had a spark of playfulness. He was the prankster of the group. “Oooooh,” went the rest of the friends group. Luna brushed it off like it was no big deal, she had probably done something worse at some point in her life. Sleeping with a teacher? No problem. Sleeping with the teacher she hated? Sweet, sweet revenge. “Fine. What are we betting about, my dear friends?” Christian and Christina looked at each other before they both shrugged. “We'll figure that out at a later time.” She nodded as she agreed to their answer and put her hand out so they could shake, and agree, on the latest bet. “Let the games begin,” Luna cheered with a big smile on her lips. She was really looking forward to this bet. They all dug into their food as they started a new conversation, forgetting about the bet for the time being. They were lucky to have at least one class with each other. Last year they had been split up and some of them hadn't even had one class with each other. She strutted into music class, making sure to pop out her hip as she walked, giving a show to whoever was behind her, and sat down in the front of the class. That way, she would have a clear view of Mr. Rosewood and he would have a clear view of her. She was still mad at him, and it wouldn't even surprise her if you were still able to see the hate clearly in her eyes, but she had to win the bet that the twins had laid upon her. “My name is Jackson, but you will all refer to me as Mr. Rosewood,” he walked into class while talking and looked around at them all. When his eyes fell upon Luna, she gave him a wink and licked her lips with a smirk. He quickly looked away and cleared his voice before he started talking again, “Find the instrument that you are best with and let us see what we have to work with this year.” She quickly found a guitar and sat down in her seat again. She had thought about spreading her legs to put on a little show, only for his eyes, but decided against it; she wasn't that easy. Though it would have been quite fun to see his reaction. “Ms. Davidson, let us hear what you can do.” She looked up at Mr. Rosewood as he mentioned her, of course he would pick her first, but she just nodded, letting her attention fall onto the guitar she was holding. She let her fingers strum on the strings gently as she started playing one of her favorite songs. “Staring at the bottom of your glass, hoping one day you'll make a dream last,” her voice shook slightly as she sang. She wasn't used to singing in front of new people, but she wasn't going to let that hold her back. “But dreams come slow and they go so fast You see her when you close your eyes Maybe one day you'll understand why Everything you touch surely dies But you only need the light when it's burning low Only miss the sun when it starts to snow Only know you love her when you let her go Only know you've been high when you're feeling low Only hate the road when you're missing home Only know you love her when you let her go Staring at the ceiling in the dark Same old empty feeling in your heart Cause love comes slow and it goes so fast Well you see her when you fall asleep But never to touch and never to keep Cause you loved her too much and you dived too deep." When she was done singing, she looked up to see everyone gaping before they started clapping and whistling. She had used to sing a lot with her mom when she was younger and getting the confirmation from people in her class that she was actually a good singer, made her really happy. She sat the guitar down beside her before leaning back in her chair, crossing her legs on top of each other and folding her hands on her knees. “Surprised?” She asked him when she finally looked up at him and gave him a wink – yes before you ask, she did have a thing for winking. He shook his head instead of giving her an answer and told a new person to start doing what they were best at. It wasn't good, not at all. She was pretty sure that they all just went a little bit deaf from hearing that. Though they did have some good musical talents in the class, everyone had their own little talent. It was just about finding the right thing. Or practice. Practice makes perfect, as they say. She quickly started to gather up her things when the bell rang and got up to walk towards the door, when the devil himself called her over to his desk. “You are good at singing, very good actually. But remember your detention, and do not be late.” He said before walking out of the class, leaving her alone. She smirked to herself with a shake of her head. Let the game begin.
