Third-person POV Sebastian paced back and forth across Scarlett’s room, his jaw tight and his hands clenched into fists at his sides. Scarlett watched angrily as he paced back and forth, not sure why it was taking him so long to respond to a simple statement she made. She had just forced herself to say something she hadn’t fully planned for, something she wasn’t sure she was ready to face: that if they were going to stay married, it couldn’t be for the sake of their baby alone.
