Nathaniel barged into my office like he owned the place, wearing a grin so wide it was unsettling. He didn’t even bother with a knock, and before I could reprimand him, he burst out with, “I did it!”
I raised an eyebrow, putting my hand over the receiver of my phone to hush him. “Nathaniel,” I said through gritted teeth, “I’m on a call.”
