Sebastian's POV The knock on the door pulled me out of my thoughts, and irritation prickled at my nerves. I didn’t need to guess who it was; I was almost certain it was my father coming to demand why I had walked out of the dining room. After Antonio’s scathing comment about my mother’s death, I had reached my breaking point, and staying in that room for even a second longer felt impossible. I was certain that if I stayed there any longer, I would end up breaking both Antonio's and my father's faces out of rage, so I just had to leave. I had come here to cool off, retreating to a room I hadn’t stepped foot in for nine years. My old room felt foreign and strangely untouched, and it reminded me of things that I'd rather not remember. The bed was still made, and the books I hadn’t care
