Willow-
Breath, in through the nose out through the mouth, breath in through the nose out through the mouth. I kept telling myself.
I will not get mad, I will not freak out. I will not get mad, I will not freak out. I keep chanting while keeping my eyes closed.
"Will? Willow? Did you hear what I just said?" Said my mom Julie.
"Yes mother I did hear you, I am working through my anger management strategies before I freak out."
" Will, you would think you would be happy about this news, with finally getting off of pack lands and moving to the city like you have always wanted." stated my mother.
Mom, I wanted to move to the city on my own to go to school. Not the whole family going at once and DEFINETLY not my father going. I am 19 years old, I wanted to experience college life. Not be surrounded by my brothers and father. I love you, but I can't be around them. I need my space.
" Willow, you will get to experience the college life. We will just be there incase you need us." Said my mom as she wrapped her arms around me in a warm hug.
My mother, always the peace keeper. As the Luna of our pack she has the most calming effect on all of us with just a simple touch. She is also pretty chill compared to my father. I get my personality from him but my looks they come from my mom. We both have long waist length auburn hair, with bright green eyes and a heart shaped face. I have less freckles than her but that will come with time in the sun I am sure. We are both 5'5' and curvy. I am definitely no size zero, I am at a healthy size 8 and I will not complain. My brothers on the other hand are my father through and through. They range between 6'0 and 6'4. They are all built like s**t brick house. The Alpha gene is strong. All six have midnight black hair, and green eyes. Their eyes are the only thing they got from my mother. We currently live in Northern Wisconsin. It's nice and secluded, which is what the pack loves about here. Me? Not so much. We are taught from a young age that pack is life. You don't leave the pack grounds unless you have met your mate or you test high enough to get a scholarship to college. Well I tested out the highest out in the school. I thought I was free, but apparently my father has other ideas as my mother has just informed me. So here is the bad news, My father got an exemption from the high council for him to take a leave and head to the cities, the plan is for my father to run the pack from afar and for his beta and gammas to run the pack on site. Kind of like working remotely, just the werewolf way.
My father is kind of a big deal in the sports world, being one of the most decorated wrestlers. He won two gold medals in back to back Olympics. He also was a 4 time NCAA Wrestling Champ at heavy weight. After his last Olympics he retired and settled down, in our small town of Summerville. He became known as a recluse to the human world not even going to his sons sporting events. Little do the humans know, he had to take over as Alpha of the largest pack in North America. It's not well known to people that my father has a daughter, his sons are well known though. The oldest triplets are twenty-two Ky, River, and Wilder are all in Hockey, they play in the NHL for the Wisconsin Muskies in Milwaukee. The next set of triplets at twenty and all in separate sports and are all three currently University of Wisconsin, Max plays baseball, Blue wrestles, and Ryker plays football. I will be attending the UW in the fall. Where I have an academic scholarship.
This year is going to be the worst, with my father there. I wont be able to cut back on my running schedule, or hang around boys. that's a huge no go for my father. Werewolf's are not supposed to be dating anyone other than their mate. He is completely old school. This year will be interesting.
