They were alone in the cabin and she strolled over to really look at him. It was hard not to. She felt this unexplainable bond to him, something tugging at her or pulling her to him even though he was so cruel in the beginning. Her feelings for him had softened since the disastrous evening they had. Then again her father always said she had a way of seeing the good in everything and everyone even when no one else did. His brows were furrowed and she hesitated smoothing them out with her fingers. Her fingers tingled and there was something exciting about finally being able to touch him which she probably wouldn’t have been able to do if he was awake. It’s not like he would know. She smoothed out his browns with her fingers. They were soft and thick and it felt good. She was so captivated
