JANE'S POV
Today's the last day of tactical mission exercises. My heart sunk when I saw fear in Grey's eyes yesterday as he hugged me tight and even sunk further with what Max had said. Well I would definitely have felt the same way if I was in Grey's shoes. He's been awfully silent as we head home even over dinner and I found him on the floor eyes closed and arms over his bent knees in the balcony.
I know better than to speak so I let him be but after he sighed for the 7th time in a minute I spoke while leaning into the railings looking into the vast calm ocean "I know what you're thinking and how you feel cause believe me I feel the same way. The fear of losing you one day is unbearable but I kept shoving it to the back of my mind and live in the present and cherish every moment I get
