Her tears began to fall, her heart shattered when she saw her boyfriend kissing another girl. She couldn't take anymore, she was ready to back away from the scene when their eyes met. shock is evident in his boyfriend's eyes and pain in her eyes. She starts to run when her boyfriend walks towards her. she ran as fast as she could but he still caught her, he embraced her tightly....
I dropped the book I was holding and rolled my eyes.
"Liya you told me this book is amazing!" I said to my best friend who was sitting in front of me.
"It is amazing, you will be shocked at what happened to them in the ending."
"Shocked? Are you serious? it's obvious! she will forgive him and they will live happily ever after." I sighed, what part of that book is amazing? It's predictable that this will be the ending. They are the protagonists of that story so of course they will end up together.
"MEL! You should stop that habit of yours. you should finish the book first before you conclude the ending. Maybe you're right about them living happily ever after in the ending but aren't you curious what hardship they encounter first before they got their happy ending?
"huh? is that even important? What is important is that they live happily ever after. I don't care about their hardship." Sabi ko habang pinaglalaruan ang libro.
She sighed and shake her head. "You also need to change that perspective of yours about the happy ending. Mel love story's don't always have happy endings, please put that in mind."
Lia said and continued what she was doing. Amelia Yara S. Penelope or liya have been my best friend since kindergarten, we both know each other's secrets. and i don't think something or someone can break that friendship.
"Lily!" Someone shouts at my back so i turn and smile when I realize who it is.
"Nash baby!" almost 2 months din kami hindi nagkita, dahil sa sobrang pagka miss ko sa kanya tinakbo ko na ang pagitan namin.
"Hey baby careful."
"Nash, I miss you so much." and I hug him immediately as I close our distance.
"Me too baby." he said as he hugged me more tightly.
"were still not good at LDR nash hahahaha."
"Yeah we shouldn't do this again."
Adler Nash L. Walker everyone call him Adler but he wants me to call him Nash. he's my long time boyfriend, wee in relationship for six years and still counting.
"Liya, thank you for taking care of my baby." I look back, nakalapit na pala si liya. she is shaking her head while smiling.
"you don't have to thank you, it's my responsibility because she's my best friend." she said while smiling at me. I smile at her too.
"Mel malapit na mag time halika na." I check my watch and she right! ang layo pa naman ng building namin.
"hatid ko na kayo." nash said.
"hindi na adler at baka kami pa may kasalanan ng pagka late mo." liya told nash while passing through us.
"she's right babe, magkita na lang tayo mamaya sa break." tiningala ko siya.
"ok." he smiled and kissed my check.
I smile and start to run toward liya. "bye." I told nash last time.
"You're so cold to him." I tell liya and I pout. I don't know if he doesn't like Nash or she just feels awkward around him.
"You don't like him for me?" I asked
"kung hindi ko siya gusto para sayo bakit ko pa patatagalin ng 6 years bago sabihin sayo?" well she has a point.
"at hindi lang naman ako sa kanya cold ah, sa lahat naman yata ng lalake."
"ohh yeah you're right, bakit kasi ang cold mo sa boys? kaya hindi ka nagkaka boyfriend eh." I said as we got silence when we enter our classroom.
The classroom is dead silent, maybe because most of us are transferees, napili namin ma upo ni liya sa second row.
"This is not what I imagined our first day in college would be like." I whispered to liya.
" what you imagine then? tawanan? it's still awkward dahil strangers pa ang isa't isa."
The door opened and our professor entered, nag sitayuan kami lahat. She surveyed the whole class.
"good morning."
"good morning ma'am." We respond in unison.
"sit down." she sid and walk towards her chair.
"the dean ordered us not to formally start the classes today and most of you here are transferee so let's start this morning by knowing your names, where school you came from etc."
"let's start from the front." she ordered
