Patience's POV
"You... you're just trying to scare me. Stop lying!" Hattie shouted frantically, her eyes full of undisguised terror.
I looked at her and spoke calmly, "Am I lying? You can ask Kelsey when he gets here."
By my estimate, Kelsey should have gotten my room number by now.
Hattie started trembling uncontrollably. Next to her, Madison's eyes suddenly went red.
She shrieked at me, "You little tramp! Go to hell!"
With that, she lunged.
I moved sideways, easily dodging her rush.
Madison missed, slamming heavily into a nearby cabinet. She screamed in pain.
Just then, the room door was violently shoved open. Kelsey and the hotel staff burst in.
I noticed Hattie stiffen. She was clearly terrified.
